As previously communicated the new engine will first have its initial launch on a European world to be benchmarked without the need of converting OT data to be compatible with the Cipsoft engine.


Our new engine is highly optimized and was reverse-engineered by one of the earliest experts to work directly with CipSoft’s binary code. In addition to running the authentic engine, we’ve integrated nearly all of TibiaBase’s systems already into the new engine and we’re very close to full completion. Any remaining systems will be implemented shortly after the launch.

A week or so after the European world, we will also implement this change to the existing NA server, removing any and all issues we currently know about.

The map will clean at server save and we will introduce the following fixes and features
  • Charm Cost is now accurate
  • Bug with convince creature rune has been fixed 
  • Removed a pixel bug in Ankrahmun
  • We removed WASD from the client options as it's automatically toggled with chat mode

In todays update we have added the following
  • Fix to attributes that were doubled in stats
  • Mystic bags will now 100% drop 1 of 6 attribute runes
  • Players will now be able to pay rent and not lose their houses
  • Verification system was added as a first step in out prevention measures to stop botters and people running farms.
  • Fixed the Inbox issue when you lose/leave your house.

   Wednesday, 08 Oct 2025 - Client Update
 Todays update has been quite a mess. In order to improve our connection for you users and reduce/remove kicks we had to work together with our hosting provider to make adjustments. It took a while and during this time there were some DDoS affecting the server.  We eventually managed to synchronize our systems with our hosting provider eventuelly and we apologize for the inconveniance.

Make sure you download the latest client, newclient4.rar from our downloads page.

We made a client update that was faulty. Its newclient3.rar that has issues. Moments ago we updated the client on the website to newclient4.rar.

This client is adapted to Tibiabase sprites so you wont receive the issues you had with client 3. This restart should also provide more stability in terms of kicks and ping.

I know there's a massive anticipation out there for constant improvements and I'm happy you have gotten used to the expectation of massive daily updates. It means we're doing a good job!

However solving critical issues is equally as important for us to make sure you have a good time on Tibiabase. Yesterday we received 2 bug reports that required immediate attention. Todays update will patch those bugs and we will tell you more about it after server save.
  • The elite spawns will be increased by 50% after SS.
  • Increased free depot limit from 500 to 1000 items
  • Increased Premium depot limit from 2000 to 4000 items
  • Beds have been removed from guildhalls and this will take effect sstarting from next server save, not this one.
  • Decreased small stone break chance from 7% to 5%.
  • Fixed a bug with stash. 
  • Fixed a bug in market.

   Wednesday, 03 Sep 2025 - WEDNESDAY UPDATES
This server save will feature the following updates
  • Shalmar will have accurate spell prices
  • NPC Uzon will let you travel with PZ
  • Fixed bug in market
  • Fixed possible memory leak
  • Fixed monster agitation (monster would not stop moving after player left the screen)
  • Added Arcane Light Wand to the store. **Ring of Light** will be added with **next client update.**
  • Elites timer for disappearing will reset with 15 minutes if it attacks or gets attacked
  • Summons in party exp share will now give master shared experience without the need for master to use runes or deal damage.
  • Monsters will no longer randomly step on fields.

With these changes the possible lags players have experienced from time to time might be gone.

Additionally, we have begun the work of our crafting system which soon be in the game!

IF YOU DO NOT, YOU WILL BE KICKED EACH TIME YOU CONNECT.

Todays update features the following content
  • Client Update
  • Added Ring of Light (Will be in Store after next server save, not today)
  • Added Arcane Light Wand (Will be in Store after next server save, not today)
  • Guild members will now get skull if attacking each other
  • If premium runs out players will now be teleported to Thais

  • Attribute rune usage has been balanced when it comes to success/fail chance
     
  • Added NPC adventurers that take you to the jungle from the desert and back. But only to the 7x Hydra team hunt.
  • Fixed a bug with the verification check
  • Shielding skill will only progress if you're actively targeting your opponent. Other than that its same principles as before. 1 Damage each 30 bloodhits to keep advancing in both shielding/weapon skill.

By next client update, everything will be automatic but this client update we noticed our updater is not 100% complete

Todays Server save featured the following updates

  • Adjusted elite monsters damage.
  • Elite monster will disappear after 10 minutes if not killed.
  • Stash has been rebuilt from scratch.
  • We have quadrupled (4x) the amount of charm points you get for completing a bestiary.
  • Fixed the visual skills bug that appears after you leave rookgaard.
  • The following creatures wont be able to become elite anymore

  • Fixed mages shielding formula (it was advancing a bit faster than it should).
This means mages shielding skills might stop (untill you have reaches the actual tries your shield requires) and then it will continue again. But also if you die there's a possiblity your shield would be set back to what it's supposed to be.

Tomorrows server save we are tweaking monster loot and finally implementing a feature we've had all along, we just havent had the time to implement it to the game. The following relics will be in the game.

Relics
  • Percht head (life leech chance +5%, life leech amount +7%) — dropped by Orc warlord

  • Demon's heart (health regeneration +2/6s, healing +3%) — dropped by Demon

  • Warlock's brain (momentum +3%) — dropped by Warlock

  • Golden cheese (gold seeker +10%) — reward in Circle Room Quest

  • Nightmare horn (loot seeker +15%) — reward in Demon Helmet Quest

  • Beholder's book (magic level +1, poison damage +5%) — dropped by Beholder

  • Radiance lamp (provide light +1) — reward in Vampire Shield Quest

  • Dragonbone sigil (fire protection +2%) — reward in Fire Axe Quest

  • Dragon Lord's Eye (fire protection +2%, health regeneration +1/8s) — dropped by Dragon lord

  • Ancient Whisper (speed +10) — dropped by Giant spider

  • Cyclops hand (critical hit chance +5%, critical hit amount +10%) — reward in Behemoth Quest

Added custom loot
We have added the following loot to the following monsters as **ultra rare drops**
  • Added Dragon Lance to Dragon lord
  • Added Dwarven Axe to Dwarf Guard
  • Added Bright Sword to Hero
Quests Updated
We have updated the quests page and removed items that will moving forward be received through hunting and player trading instead. This will help the economy but also give players new goals to achieve instead of making it easy through easy quests and inflating items on the server while decreasing their value.

Todays server save update features following fixes
  • Classic control will instantly drag stacks
  • Actionbars removed
  • Timestamps are on the client by default
  • We have added "Move up" feature to containers and depot
  • Sending points will work even if the receiver is offline
  • NPC wont be able to buy attributed items anymore
  • Corrected monsters Defense (mistake from previous update fixed)
  • Fixed bug where summon would cast spells while master is on a different floor
  • Added 1 second delay to tools
  • Market now notifies free account players they cant list items for sell
  • Death Window was removed
  • Fixed so you can separate stacks in classic control using shift

We have also quickly patched the bugs we encountered in the game in the beginning of the server restart
  • Distance fighting is now progressing as usual
  • Player defence has been restored to normal

After todays server save you will need to download the latest updated client. We have implemented the following features and fixes.

Serverside
  • Fixed monster spells and distance fighting intervalls
  • Removed bug that would give player with 0 premium days, 2 premium days
  • Fixed issue with rope (where you could rope yourself if you stand on the hole)
  • Fixed monsters defence
  • Doubled monsters charm points per completed bestiary
  • Fixed bug where you could rope NPC :white_check_mark:
  • Fixed monsters vision of sight so they cant walk up to you from too far away
  • Temporarily increased gold pouch slots to 100 untill we fixed unlimited solution
  • Fixed party share experience
  • Added smooth escaping for distance fighting monsters
  • Fixed so summons cant cast spells while master is in PZ
  • Paladin will only pierce through defense, not armor

Clientside
  • Anti MC
  • Secure client against datapack intrusion (a form of anti cheat)
  • Fixed the bug where it would displau s% instead of numbers in your skills and premium

Official Launch – This Friday at 5PM CET / 12PM BRT

The wait is nearly over! We're thrilled to announce that the official launch of the server is happening this Friday at 5PM CET / 12PM BRT.

We've been working tirelessly behind the scenes to deliver an experience as close to the original as possible. Our server has access to the official leaked files sources, just like Tibiara, which has given us a solid foundation to build an accurate representation with the flexibility of modern OTServer development environment.

A lot has gone into fine-tuning the core engine, from monster AI and player damage formulas, to skill progressiondeath penalties, and beyond. Tibiabase stands as one of the most faithful recreations in the OT community, replicating the authentic feel without hosting the official files.

Expect a more immersive and slower-paced game where your choices matter: skill progression is more deliberate, death carries real consequences, and vocations like knights and paladins benefit from skill.

We can't wait to see you in-game!
